The stackable modules are designed for seamless scalability, easily adapting to meet specific power requirements. With the ability to connect multiple packs in parallel or stacked configurations, the system ensures enhanced range and reliability. This flexible setup allows boats to evolve effortlessly with changing needs, delivering versatile and future-ready power solutions for any journey.
Color-coded wiring and built-in wrong-plug prevention make setup simple and error-free, ensuring a smooth installation process.
With a 3000 charge cycle lifespan, the battery provides runtime as per the configuration, perfect for leisure activities.
Seamlessly integrates with a hybrid controller, enabling the use of alternate power sources for on-the-go hybrid systems.
Designed with an IP67 waterproof rating, it ensures reliability in harsh conditions and challenging environments.
Incorporates proprietary heating and cooling, with optional liquid cooling for efficiency in warm climates, and self-venting for adaptability in extreme temperatures.
Identifies and isolates defective packs without affecting the drivetrain, prioritizing safety and system reliability.
Typically, travel range is quantified in distance, not time. The 50HP (32 kWh) battery pack offers a range of about 50 kilometres, while the 75HP (40 kWh) pack allows for approximately 200 kilometres at a speed of 5 knots.
The battery sizes are as follows:
32kWh: 39.8×22.4×7.5 inch/pack (2 modules)
43 kWh:27.8×17.7×10.2 inch/pack (3 modules)
The weight of the battery varies:
473 lb for 50 HP (32 kWh) in 1 pack (2 battery modules)
682 lb for 75 HP (43 kWh) in 1 pack (3 battery modules)
A: The weight aligns with the standard industry practice. Notably, ACEL batteries are five times lighter than regular car batteries.
The battery’s lifespan is approximately 3000 charge cycles. Typically, this results in approximately 50 cycles per year.
When using ACEL electric chargers, you’ll benefit from their intelligent design, and open architecture allowing for adaptation to the shore power. ACEL offers smart chargers as part of their comprehensive system from 15A/ 110V onwards. ACEL also supports fast charging, if supported by shore infrastructure, enabling rapid charging within an hour.
The boat may stop, but the software continues running, allowing you to contact SOS if needed. As the battery charge diminishes, the power output gradually decreases. When the charge level reaches 30%, the power output is reduced by a certain percentage; at 20%, it’s reduced by another value, and at 10%, yet another value. This stepwise reduction strategy aims to lower the likelihood of depleting the battery completely before safely returning to the marina.
Yes, ACEL Power electric motors are designed with water safety in mind. They are rated IP67, which means they are not only water-resistant but also suitable for submersion in water for a certain period. This level of protection ensures that our electric motors can withstand exposure to various environmental conditions, making them ideal for marine applications where water contact is likely to occur.
